Göcek is a quiet base with marina restaurants and no nightlife, which is exactly what a multi-generational celebration usually wants. The season runs April to November; families with school-age children tend to choose late June to August, while older groups prefer May, June or September for milder heat. Fethiye town, with the Çalış beach promenade and the Paspatur bazaar, is close enough for an evening ashore before or after the charter.
