Fethiye is a calm coast built around overnight cruising, which suits an anniversary far better than a resort with a party scene. Göcek itself is quiet, with marina restaurants for the night before you board. The season runs April to November, and September in particular combines warm sea with softer evenings. Dalaman Airport is about 50 minutes away, so a long weekend is realistic even from a Friday flight. Ashore, the Çalış beach promenade is the town's sunset spot if you arrive a day early.

For a sunset with a view, Gemiler Island south of Fethiye. For complete quiet, a Göcek bay such as Göbün or Bedri Rahmi Bay, where the boat sits in still water below the pine forest. The captain chooses according to the evening's conditions.
