Göcek is quiet, with marina restaurants and no club scene, which suits a wedding party that wants to talk rather than shout. Guests fly into Dalaman Airport, about 50 minutes from the Göcek marinas, so arrivals and departures fit around one boarding time. The season runs April to November; late May, June and September give warm water without peak heat for guests in formal dress. If part of the group wants nightlife afterwards, the Paspatur bazaar in Fethiye town has live music.
