Fethiye is calm rather than loud, so an engagement party here is a day of swimming and a long lunch, not a floating nightclub. The guests who want more can head to the Paspatur bazaar in town or the clubs of Hisarönü above Ölüdeniz afterwards. Dalaman Airport is about 50 minutes away, which makes a weekend trip workable for friends flying in. The season runs April to November; from June to September the water is warm enough for the group to stay in until the cook calls lunch.
