A Bodrum yacht charter sunset party boards at D-Marin Turgutreis on the west coast at six, where the peninsula faces the evening sun and the Greek island of Kos sits on the horizon. The west coast of the Bodrum peninsula is the sunset coast, and from the water you get the whole horizon rather than a strip between buildings. Turgutreis gives you Kos in silhouette; Gümüşlük gives you Rabbit Island and the fish restaurants lighting up ashore. Our day yachts of 15–25 m carry up to 12 guests with a sound system and sunbeds on the foredeck, and a 25 m+ crewed yacht adds a chef for dinner once the sun is gone. Nobody has to drive home afterwards; the yacht does that.

In July and August the sun sets late on the Bodrum peninsula, so a six o'clock departure leaves time for a swim before the light turns. The afternoon meltem blows on this coast, which is why the captain chooses the anchorage on the day: off Turgutreis when it is calm, in the shelter of Gümüşlük when it is not. June and September give equally warm evenings, more yachts to choose from and quieter anchorages. D-Marin Turgutreis and Yalıkavak Marina are both around 45 minutes from Milas-Bodrum Airport for guests arriving on the day.

D-Marin Turgutreis is closest to the west-coast sunset with Kos in view. Yalıkavak Marina is a short cruise from Gümüşlük and suits guests staying on the north coast. From Milta Bodrum Marina, allow a longer cruise west along the peninsula.
Around 18:00 in July and August, a little earlier in June and September, which gives an hour for a swim and drinks before the sun starts to set. The whole charter runs about four hours, returning to the marina after dark.
Yes. The charter continues with music and drinks under the stars for the remaining time, and we can extend the booking or add dinner on a crewed yacht. Many groups finish with a night out in Yalıkavak or on Bar Street below the castle.
