Distances are short around the Bodrum peninsula, which is why three islands fit into one day. The order matters: Karaada and Orak Island in the calm morning, the west coast and Gümüşlük in the afternoon and evening when the meltem is up and the sheltered anchorage counts. The Kos crossing from Turgutreis depends on a licensed yacht and a calm forecast, so the captain confirms it the day before. Peak weeks are July and August; June and September have the same water and more availability. Milas-Bodrum Airport is about 45 minutes from the marinas.
