The north coast between Yalıkavak and Türkbükü is where Bodrum's summer scene lives, and it is busiest in July and August, when beach club tables and yachts book out early. June and September give the same warm days and evenings with easier reservations and quieter jetties. The afternoon meltem is noticeable here, so the captain anchors in the most sheltered spot off the clubs and moves to Gümüşlük's calm anchorage for the sunset. Yalıkavak Marina is around 45 minutes from Milas-Bodrum Airport for those arriving on the day.
