For a working retreat, late May to June and September to October are ideal: warm water, comfortable saloons and empty anchorages west of Kemer. July and August are hot at midday, so sessions shift to early morning and evening, with the afternoon at anchor. The Taurus Mountains shelter the whole route, and the bays from Phaselis to Adrasan are calm overnight, so the team sleeps well. Kaş and Kekova are far enough that they only make sense on a five- to seven-day charter; shorter retreats stay within a day's passage of Antalya.
