For a working retreat, May, June, September and October are the most productive months: warm enough to swim, cool enough to concentrate in the saloon, and the western bays are quiet. July and August are hot in the middle of the day, so sessions move to early morning and evening. The Taurus Mountains shelter the anchorages from Kemer to Adrasan, which keeps nights calm and the team rested. Mobile coverage varies west of Çıralı, which most teams treat as a feature rather than a problem.
