Timing is everything here. In July and August the sun sets late, and the afternoon meltem is the one thing to plan around, so we pick a sheltered anchorage at Gümüşlük and time the question for the last light. June and September give the same weather with more choice of yachts and quieter bays. Milas-Bodrum Airport is around 45 minutes from the marinas, so proposing on your arrival evening is realistic, and Bar Street below the castle is a short walk from Milta Bodrum Marina for afterwards.

For July and August, book three to four weeks ahead so we can secure a yacht with a discreet crew for the Gümüşlük sunset slot. In June and September a week's notice is usually enough, and there is more choice of yachts across all three marinas.
Yes. We brief the captain and crew in advance: flowers, a chilled bottle, your playlist on the sound system and the exact moment they leave the foredeck. If you want photos, a photographer boards at Milta Bodrum Marina as part of the crew.
Milta Bodrum Marina below the castle is the usual choice, as Gümüşlük is a comfortable cruise west. If you are staying on the north coast, Yalıkavak Marina works just as well, and D-Marin Turgutreis puts you closest to the west-coast sunset with Kos in view.
