Weekends on the water run from April to November, with May, June, September and October offering warm sea, quiet anchorages and manageable heat. July and August weekends are the busiest at Phaselis and in the Kemer bays, so an early Saturday departure helps. Nights at anchor west of Kemer are sheltered by the mountains and usually still. Sunday's return is timed to the afternoon breeze in the gulf and the group's flights; the crew adjusts the departure from Phaselis so the marina arrival leaves a comfortable margin for the airport.
